Looking for the next opportunity
to solve a problem.
The digital way...
Hi, I'm Taylor - a freelance UX / UI Designer and
these are my experiences
The Problem - With the demand to run an engineering firm, a digital portfolio or online presence is often left to the waste side. With no social media campaign and a website that was built in 1999, SJB Group needed a new look to match their amazing work from the last 76 years.

The Solution - Create a desktop and mobile website, along with a social media campaign that would illustrate their services and staff. After speaking with each department manager and the owners, I was able to organize their message and services into a easy to use web format.

The Problem - Architects, engineers, and planners, all play a vital role in the curation of our infrastructure, neighborhoods, and communities. With so many professions adding value to our cities, where is the design firm that specializes in public or private art? The challenge for Urban Canvas Studio was to communicate this new design practice to the public.

The Solution - By creating a beautiful and simple desktop and mobile website, I was able to convey the main factors that made their practice unique. With any new idea or approach, simplicity is the strongest method to convey your message. From who we are to what we do, keeping the message upfront and beautiful was the key to Urban Canvas Studio’s success.

The Problem - Heart disease kills more than 800,000 people a year in the United States and many organizations create fun and exciting methods to get our citizens moving. Your Heart Trail is a pop up walking trail throughout the downtown Baton Rouge area that uses wayfinding decals to guide it’s user. However, without a tour guide, many users may get lost or find it difficult to stay on the path.

The Solution - By utilizing a simple user interface, I was able to utilize QR codes placed on each decal to connect each user to a guide map or turn by turn direction. As the user of the trail became familiar with the path, their use of the mobile site decreased.

The Problem - As the interest in drone technology increased and its commercial viability grew, conveying this information to further clients or agencies became more and more difficult.

The Solution - Utilizing beautiful graphics, an easy to digest user interface, and powerful language, United Aerial’s website was able to deliver the necessary information to any audience that came across their website. From case studies to their services, United Aerial was able to deliver their incredible message about this innovative tool.
